The Source of Love

Why should I love another?

From this passage I learn the following reasons for brotherly love:

• I have been born of God.

• I know God.

• God loves me.

• God dwells in me.

• God's love is perfected in me.

• I dwell in God.

• As God is, so am I in this world.

• God loved me first.

• I love God.

• God commands it.

If it weren't for God, nobody would have to love me. And if it weren't for God, I wouldn't need to love anybody.

Because without God, love would not exist.

So, why should I love another?
