Is the Devil’s Deception Getting Better?

Maybe it's just that God has given him a freer hand.

I don’t know if the devil’s deception is getting “better,” or if he’s just receiving a freer hand as the end of the age draws nigh, or if God’s people are just getting more gullible and careless. Maybe it’s all three or maybe it’s something else. Whatever the case, I see more and more deception, and more and more deceived.

  1. About when you believe that moderns have the corner on stupidity you read the OT prophets and learn there is nothing new under the sun. The dumbest idea I have ever heard is found in Ezekiel 29:3,9: ‘My Nile is mine and I myself have made it’, so said Pharaoh/Egyptians. God’s response to this arrogance is severe judgement and concludes by saying “I will make the Nile canals dry”, Ezekiel 30:12.
